Roughly 7 million people are food insecure, and 60 million children under the age of five are malnourished. We have an additional 1.5 billion people to feed by 2050.

This moonshot effort is to ensure everyone has enough nutritious food in the decades ahead. The appeal was coordinated by Cary Fowler, the 2024 World Food Prize Laureate and former United States Special Envoy for Global Food Security. 50+ Nobel Peace Prize and World Food Prize Laureates came together in a letter during global call-to-action to prevent a growing hunger crisis.

MY ROLE

As the graphic designer, I collaborated with the director of communications and director of awards to gather information and refine designs based on feedback. In effort to launch the letter, here are the design materials I created:

  • Letter

  • Social media graphics

  • Social media Trello toolkit for public and media use

  • Webpage

  • Web homepage banner

With all designs, I created layouts aligned with the brand identity to ensure visual consistency across platforms.

FINAL DESIGN OF THE LAUREATE LETTER
SOCIAL MEDIA

Social media graphics was created to promote the letter initiatives and inviting organizations to join the movement. A Trello board with all graphics was shared with the public to increase the promotion on their respective channels. They were posted across facebook, Instagram, and X.
